Yenakievo steelworks, part of Ukraine’s Metinvest Group, is continuing construction of its new blast furnace No.3, which is due to start up in the second quarter of 2010, the company tells Steel Business Briefing.

Ukrainian steelmaker Metinvest plans to commission its new 500-600,000 tpy rebar and sections rolling mill at Makeevka in May this year, sales director of Metinvest’s steel and rolled products division Andrey Parkhomchuk told MB.
